Description: This picture is inspired by Florence + the Machine's "Only If For A Night" (
[link]). I tried to make this picture very surreal. The main lyric from the song that I focused on is, "It was so strange and so surreal that a ghost should be so practical". The eyes of the woman in the picture were intended to look simultaneously open and closed, or like she is waking up from sleeping. Her eyes, the flowers in her hair, her veil, and the Chinese characters (reading "mayfly" and "dream") on her hairpins were all meant to point towards the capriciousness of time (Only If For A Night).
