the brownish wormy thing is the same pokemon as the whiteish winged one (bug ground types). the wormy is female and the winged one is a male. the females tunnel through wood or soil and stuff like earthworms or beetle larva and what not. the males are pretty bad at flying (like bee mario in mario galaxy) but the often times swarm in huge numbers like ants (acting like shurgrubs/wigs from pikmin).
that star-thingy up there is an Empress Berry. the little termites gather them with other berries, like ants gather seeds and stuff, and then stockpile them in huge numbers inside their castile nests. if you feed your lil termite a ton of empress berries then it evolves into the yellowish qween termite one (also bug ground type).

Army Ants - each turn, the termite lays an egg. in two to five turns, the hatches into either a male or a female lil termite, eventualy creating an army of bugs. Each male termite boosts the power of bug type moves, and each female boosts the power of ground type moves. But, when a fire, ice, or flying move is used, the army faints (or runs away or something).
